In response to this tweet, he informed us that Demon Knights takes place in the 9th Century.

In the conversation ending with this tweet, Cornell reassures a fan that any changes to Madame Xanadu post-Flashpoint aren't being done willy-nilly.

Demon Knights #2 Art Revealed

DC Comics tweeted some finished art from Demon Knights #2. The uncolored version of this two-page spread had been previously released in this Newsarama interview.

IGN interviews Paul Cornell

IGN posted an interview with Paul Cornell, writer of Demon Knights. Most of what he said has appeared before in previous interviews, but I saw at least two new pieces of information. First, the powers that be at DC had initially approached Cornell about doing a Demon solo series, but it was his idea to make it a team book. Also, we may or may not see a medieval Swamp Thing in an upcoming issue.

Demon Knights #4 Solicit

iFanboy has released all the solicits for the December "Dark" titles, including Demon Knights #4. Note that Mike Choi is only drawing a backup, and the cover that Wired released on Wednesday is not the final cover.

Demon Knights #4 cover/guest artist revealed

I actually posted a link to this Wired article back on Wednesday, but it's probably worth noting that it features the first glance at the cover to December's Demon Knights #4 by Mike Choi.

Also, the DC Comics Twitter person tweeted that Choi will also be the guest interior artist for this issue.

Paul Cornell himself tweeted that #4 "is a big issue, a reach out to past and future, designed to give Dio a break."

Demon Knights #1 Annotations

Finally -- original content!

One of the main features of this site will be annotations for new issues of Demon Knights as well as comic books from the past featuring the stars of Demon Knights. Although I have an encyclopedic knowledge of some corners of the DC Universe *cough*Flash*cough*, this is not one of them. Therefore, I will be googling and researching furiously to compile these, until eventually I do have an encyclopedic knowledge of this corner, too!
